The significance of August 2007 to me, my unforgettable month. Many things that I can tell in this month, this month is very memorable to me and very challenging. This is the month that I can say very adventurous. So many things that I encounter in this month, many struggles that I achieved and most of all big problems was I experience. Many people I learn a lot. All important dates are in the month of August. For example, my mother’s birthday and my step mother’s birthday. How great it is to me. May be funny, but it is true.
Month of August is the month were Davaoeños are celebrating there festival. They called it “Kadayawan festival”. Kadayawan festival is very important month to the Davaoeños and also to me. Very memorable date. August 18, 2007. The Kadayawan celebration contests are in the San Pedro Park. Many Davaoeños are eating “Durian”. Some of my friends are going in the park. We have many parks here in Davao like Magsaysay Park, San Pedro Park, and so on and so fort.
Actually, month of August is the Santa Rosa De Lima Month. I still remember the patron of Lima and the good story of De Lima. In the City of Santa Rosa Laguna were I’m from. De Lima is very thoughtful sister. I like her the way she is. I still remember also my school. August 27 is our foundation day. The birthday of Saint Rose School De Santa Rosa Laguna was celebrate. Each of us have been need to create a play to show to all City of Santa Rosa Laguna that we were not forgotten the tradition of Lima.
